Taylor Mustizer – Physician Assistant

Taylor Mustizer joined the Black River Medical team as a Physician Assistant in 2021. Taylor graduated from Clarkson University with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies and received a Health and Fitness Promotion from SUNY Canton. He has worked as a provider in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties and has experience working in emergency departments, detox facilities, nursing homes, urgent care, and hospitals. While he has enjoyed serving as a provider in each of these environments, he is moving into primary care so he can build meaningful relationships with patients in a way that those specialties don’t allow for. He especially looks forward to helping people manage their chronic conditions such as Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Diabetes Mellitus, Depression, Anxiety, Coronary Artery Disease, and so on.

In his free time, Taylor enjoys hiking the Adirondacks, boating on the St. Lawrence River, downhill skiing, playing golf and lacrosse. He lives with his wife (who is an RN), their two year-old son, and two dogs.
